I thought my warranty was for 2 years which is great, but came to find out from Focal Naim Canada that it’s actually 5 years. That’s impressive for a company these days! Hopefully the service matches and I hear it does so we’ll see how my repair goes!
In the UK the standard warranty is 2 years, but this is extended to 5 years for the original purchaser only. Perhaps it’s the same in your location?
I thought you had to purposefully register to get the extended, which I probably did and just when I bought it and may just not be remembering.
Yes, in the UK you are supposed to register your purchase on Naim’s website. In practice, getting that to work is hit and miss, but I don’t think that’s a real problem. My dealer has records of anything I have bought from them, and I really can’t imagine that Naim would refuse to honour the warranty just because of an incomplete record of online registration.
That was certainly the case in the UK, either on-line or filling in the card and mailing….
But I always understood that was UK only…
I’m overseas now, but any Naim kit I purchase in the UK (majority) I register it on a UK address for the 5year…Just means getting kit back, though thankfully haven’t had need to….

In the US, the warranty on electronics is 5 years but is not transferable.
