Uniti Star + wireless speakers

I use my Star w Monitor Audio Silver 300s in the living room, but want music in my kitchen.

I’m considering the Kef LSXs and wonder if anyone has experience w this setup or other suggestions.

I assume I’d only be able to listen to the Kefs in the kitchen or disconnect them via BT when I want to listen to my MAs in the living room. Correct?

You’ll have to excuse me, but after today’s events it’s very difficult to take hi-fi problems seriously but good luck.

You would need a Bluetooth transmitter to send audio from the star to Bluetooth speakers. That box would connect to the star preout and just turn it on and off as needed. You would also need something to disconnect the star’s own speakers.
It’s probably easier to buy a muso and use Naim multiroom via the app.

What’s happened ? There’s nothing unusual in the news here.

Then why are you spending time reading about hi-fi problems??

Would a transmitter such as [this] YMOO-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Receiver-Headphones

I’d think a Muso, which could take advantage of the Naim multiroom streaming, would be dramatically better for kitchen listening, and would avoid the scourge of Bluetooth.

Ok, I’ve connected my BT transmitter to my wireless speaker but no sound. Any ideas what next? I’m using a Bose Soundlink Revolve II.

Have you plugged the transmitter into the preamp output of the star?

Yes, in the pre-amp output. I’ve returned the transmitter and may try a different one.
