Hi to everybody. I just purchsed one unit of Uniti Star. I wuold like to know according your experience the best speakers combinations. Some one told me about Buchard S400 MKII Signature. Thanks for your feedback. Paolo
Hi, moebjus, I’m using ATC SCM 11s with my Star, and enjoying them.
I’ve got a pair of PMC Twenty5 23i’s floor standers and it sounds fantastic in my room.
But of course it depends on your room layout furnishings etc. you need to audition several at home to find what works for you including different speaker cables.
I bought, and still have, the Star and auditioned a few speakers at the time. All floorstanders though, as I see you’re suggesting standmounts.
In the end it was very close between the Revel F206 and B&W 702s2, I ended up buying the latter, but that was partially because of looks (Revel only does high gloss). It looks like the Revel are now quite good value as surprisingly they haven’t gone up in price, unlike everything else.
Currently I use a self-built pair of Troels Gravesen’s 3WC-15 design.
