Has anyone out there got the above or something very similar. I’m trying work out how to run the Qute ( almost as a radio / steamer) through the Nac200 / Nap200. I’ve got a Cd transport connected via optical cable to the Qute.
At the moment ( and even with the support teams help) I’ve drawn a blank ……
I would use the pre-amp out . I guess you are using the DAC element only
I use the UnitiQute 2 as a DAC and used to use it as a streamer from my Sky Box into my NAIT 50 , and that is how I use it.
The NAC 202 just sees it as another source , provided the pre-amp is set at the right level. It should be at about 65.
Well, is the Qute functioning properly on its own? Do you have the remote? Do you have the manual? Is the screen working, so you can access the setup menus and so on? Is streaming working? If so, all you need to do is get a 2 RCA → 5-pin DIN cable, and run it from the preamp out RCA plugs on the Qute to a DIN input on the 202. On the Speakers Menu on the Qute, set to “None.”
Hi there. Yes I’ve got everything and all seems to be working ok, so it could be a faulty cable or something else. I’ll have another look at it later this evening. Thank you.
The thing is, the aux2 rca sockets on the 202 are taken up with the phono stage connectors from the turntable. So I guess it’ll have to be the rca to 5 pin din cable. I’m wondering if this is at fault.,
That’s good to hear. I didn’t realize that the 202 has two RCA inputs. According to the manual, in addition to aux2, you can program the CD input to the RCA terminals.
