I disconnected the unit from pwr supply for safety reasons during 3 weeks this summer. Since then I cannot get it on the network again.
The app cannot connect however the unit is visible (not connected) on the wifi system. I am getting nowhere with my limited know how, so I post this as a last call before I give up and buy something else. Anyone out there that have experienced this (I have checked the threads).

Which app are you using Naim Focal app or the NServe app?
Is the front panel green light steady or flashing?
If all is well, you have to switch off all components (router, switch, Naim Streamer, Unitiserve) and then switch them back on in the order above.
My unitiserve sometimes disappears from the network and then I have to do a full switch off and then back on in the correct order.
Good luck.
Thank you for reply. I use the Nserve app, front panel flashing.
I will try the switching off today.
May well be that the internal CMOS coin battery has run dead, especially if you’ve had the US powered off recently, though apparently it’s not supposed to make a difference when powered up or down, so may just be a unfortunate coincidence….
The flashing status probably indicates the BIOS needs resetting, once the battery has been replaced…
Plenty of threads here on the forum on it all if you look up the issue….

If the logo is flashing and you need to change the battery, you’ll find the info you need here.
Thank you for the thread. Battery replaced, VGA screen found, now I will just get myself a PS 2 keyboard. I’ll keep you posted.
Thank you for reply. I am heading in this direction, lets hope I’ll get it fixed.
A USB keyboard will also work.
OK, directly in the USB port or via an adapter to the PS2 one?
Direct in USB port. Sure I was able to access BIOS even with no HDD installed with a USB keyboard.
So I have a USB keyboard and a fujitsu laptop with a VGA connection. I have tried to enter the BIOS by pressing delete on startup but it does not happen. I get a clicking sound from the Unitiserve when pressing delete. The ordinary desktopscreen comes up and it changes format from wide to a square layout. The desktop client has only a few options to press, like scan for harddrive etc.
Maybe the laptop is not the correct thing to use as a VGA? The clicksound when pressig delete indicates that the keybord work.
Any ideas on this?
