Unity Star Isolation

Hi All
Im new to the forum.
I have purchased a Unity Star and have put it on top of an oak cupboard which I intend to spike the legs, through the carpet, and onto the concrete floor.
Should I also buy some sort of isolation equipment to place between the Star and the top of the oak top?

My Star sits on a granite block as it’s on a oak sideboard. In the absence of a dedicated rack you can get also get isolation platforms with naim style ball/cups on eBay for about £90.

Thanks for that advice. I could put a solid top on the cupboard with something between to isolate.
