Can’t really add much, other than support the decision to go for an 82, a friend of mine has one with 2 x HiCaps and sounds superb.
I’d be tempted to do that first and see how it goes with your 2 x 140s then as suggested perhaps consider changing them for a single 250 CB or Olive and consider service every 10 years or so.
