You could always ditch the CD player and buy just one 555DR. It would be cheaper and you’d have two boxes fewer.
Indeed, and this also formed a key component of the previous ‘upgrade ‘ option, however, I really like the CDX2 even in this age of streaming, something to do with the physicality of playing a CD I think. Which in turn lead to the path I eventually chose. Emotional rather than logical I know.
