Every system has limitations, even if finances are not an issue. I might like to move to a Rega Ania, but given how infrequently I listen to records I could not justify it.
My husband did not want taller racks or taller speakers. Because he never objects to my equipment purchases, I needed to respect that
Also while I would like better speaker cable, the length I need precludes that. My dealer feels I am not needing upgrades after my NC system.
i suggest you demo the options
i did the demo at my dealers and found adding the 333 to my 222 gave a much greater improvement than adding the 300. i was specificall wanting better clarity on lyrics and the 333 gave that - the 300 didnāt.

I have Auto Standby set to 20 minutes. I find my 222/250 only takes a few minutes to be at its best when woken from Standby.
350ās as that is what i have and closest new pmcās to my twenty5-26i cant remember the nbr. the plan was always to sort amp and speakers and then update source gradually - i also demoed a linn front end but that didnāt improve lyric intelligibility and lost a lot of the immediacy of the 222. i want to listen to a chord alternative (dave?) before i finally decide but that isnāt easy locally

Thanks for confirming. Iāll be sure to demo but Iām feeling positive that taking two steps to smooth out affordability will make sense.
@MrFixit what you ultimately decide will to some extent depend on your speakers. My D7.2 are relatively sensitive at 90db. Therefore I chase the NC 250 over the 350. Had a chose the 350, I would have been limited to only one NPX300, which I was not willing to do. Whether you upgrade all at once or in stages, you will need to consider the entirety of the system.
My speakers are less sensitive than yours, but my room isnāt large. Both my dealer and I feel the 250 is fine, I donāt set the volume higher than 40, so I wonāt be considering the 350s.
My rack has 5 levels, so if I pack away the TT2 and Meridian CD player (which needs repair anyway) I could fit 333/300/332/300/250 if I really wanted to, but Iām confident 333/332/250 will be good enough given my 60 odd year old hearing!
@MrFixit I agree. I used the 333/332/NC250 for about 6 months before adding the power supplies I used the standard Naim cables, but eventually moved to Chord SarumT. YMMV.
Itās not about more volume. I also had the NC Nap 250 with the 332/332 and 2 300s. I also hesitated about getting the 350s, as my room isnāt large, my hearing is also 60+, and I donāt listen at high volumes. However when I had the chance to buy ex-demo, I posted on this forum and consensus was to āgo for itā. The improvement was significant, the 350ās just had more control over my B and W 804 D2s, and the soundstage was more precise.

. But I need to put a limit on things. The 350s are only going to demand two NPXās and a new rack. So Iām purposely blanking the 350s as a no go. Even if they can double the SQ!
Edit: I note your speakers are considered somewhat power hungry with a deep impedance curve dip, making them more challenging for an amp to drive. So I can see why 350s made a big difference. The 606s are easier to drive by all accounts, but Iām sure 350s would still be beneficial.
@MrFixit One has to stop somewhere. I am not sure that having the 350 amps would require NPX300 power supplies. However upgrade options can get out of hand very quickly.
