Hi, i own nd5 xs and xp5 xs, happy with this combo, but there is a lot of n-dac out there for sale, have any of you trayed the nd5 xs as a transport to a n-dac/xp5 xs ?
Do i get more for my money by buy a ndx 2, yes it Will cost some more money.

I use an ND5XS as transport into an nDAC/XPS. However I already had the nDAC so I’ve never used the on-board DAC other than to test it after purchase but I did find it had an enjoyable but “small” sound. The nDAC is more life size and detailed.
