Make sure you test it whatever you buy. Some Streamers /DACs require the version 2.0 high speed and not all ‘audiophile’ cables meet that spec. For example neither Shunyata nor Chord USB cables worked between my Auralic Aries G2.2 and Qutest - though bizarrely the Shunyata did work when I had my previous Aries G1.1. My dealer tested some cables and Siltech and Cardas were found to be OK. Auralic advised that Audioquest were reliable as they do adhere to published specifications. I purchased the Siltech 380. Not cheap and took 8 weeks from order to delivery. Been in a couple weeks so possibly still burning in. Cannot compare to the Shunyata. It’s better than the no name cable that came with the Auralic but not what I would call night and day stuff so far.

I have an Audioquest Carbon between hard drive and Auralic Aries. I still don’t understand why but there is a difference in presentation between it, the AQ Cinnamon and a ‘standard’ usb cable. I use the same cable to move files from PC to the hard drive.

Second this. I use two of them between my PC->Innuos PhoenixUSB->DAC.
A really no nonsense USB cable that isn’t fancy or hugely expensive is the Luxman JPU-150.
I used this for years. It’s a bit like Naim lavender in the sense it is not very expensive but is the recommended cable even for their uber expensive DACs.
