The dealer who sold the Nova and Core to me recommended a Western Digital drive…all is well ! Back up so simple.

I use Seagate and that works fine as well.

I have a Samsung SSD. If that fails and I have everything backed up on a USB drive what happens next ?

No problem. You replace the SSD with a new one and then you use the function in the Naim app to “restore” the Music Store from the backup. It takes a while, hours or days depending on how many albums you have, but it is straightforward.

I use a La Cie which is based on Seagate technology…its faster than my Seagate drive backing up.
