USB to RS-232 lead - to update Uniti 1 via my Mac

Just bought a Uniti 1. I need to update the firmware to the new 4.9 firmware, so that I can use the Focal and Naim app with it. Noticed today that it needs a USB to RS-232 lead - to update the Uniti 1 via my Mac. My question is - can I buy any ‘standard’ USB to RS-232 lead? Or are there specific ones that I should look for that will 100% do the job?

The standard lead is all you need. Be sure to follow the instructions for the update precisely. Good luck.

Have you read the detailed instructions on how to do this? You need to check that the Uniti isn’t too old to be compatible with the update.
