A wall of music, be it records or cd’s, is a thing of beauty in mind. It speaks of a the time spent selecting music for your personal collection, carefully curated and lovingly looked after. Something you just can’t do with streaming. Lovely shot, and that chair!!

Funny how the two things I miss the most about vynil is the warmer sound ( produced) and cover art in full size that allows to work literally like a canvas. (Thinking I.e.: The Wall)
Remembered that when bought the CD , the layout was so tiny that we missed the lot

We used to have a huge vinyl collection, lots of it inherited but space constraints and the fact that most of it we never listened to or were unlikely to either resulted in a big cull and now we have only about 1500 albums that do get used in varying amounts

Lol. Yeah, the perimeter keeps my 1yo daughter from picking out her fav lps, and also extends to protect the stereo.
Can’t imagine Ikea would ever stop making it, but if they did I suppose its back to metal racks!
