Vinyl releases on pre order

Yes I’ve pre-ordered the vinyl (don’t pay until dispatch though). It’s worth reading all the info about the provenance, who’s been involved, and how long its taken. Yes there’s lots of comments about the pricing but mainly aimed at the CD set.

I was on the fence, read about the amount of work that has gone into this and also preordered it. I’m sure it will be reduced later in the year but will enjoy hearing this on it’s release.

The vinyl may drop by £20-30 eventually but I’m guessing this won’t be a massive pressing so don’t want to miss out just for that potential saving. I’m also looking forward to the ‘original’ album and seeing how that sounds.
Best pressing I’ve got is the 2013 box set, so good I’ve a spare sealed ‘safe queen’ :joy::+1:

Pink Floyds soon to be released first time at the arena in Pompeii in 1971, I’ve ordered all the formats so as not to miss anything.

Sorry, don’t understand, the track list is correct?

Rhino have just announced the latest batch of “Rhino Reserve” titles to be released on June 27

Like the first two releases they are mastered from the analog tapes at Bernie Grundman and manufactured at Fidelity Record Pressing. If they are anything like the quality of the Allen Toussaint and Eddie Hazel releases from the start of the year then these will be essential purchases for me.

Yes, just wished a lot more had bought it and he may be still around :slightly_frowning_face:

He lived fairly close to me. Bit off topic.

Also in same graveyard the motorcycle racer Mike Hailwood.

The Drake family gravestone is beautiful, and so sad to read about parents who die after their offspring. But the Hailwood headstone is particularly tragic. Mike Hailwood died two days after his nine year-old daughter. “A bud on earth, a flower in heaven”

Definitely be interested in Otis Blue I have a Rhino mono copy from a few years back on blue vinyl so would be interested to see how that compares.
