After a three year absence I have just returned to Naim ( Uniti Nova ) and I’m delighted with the new purchase.
When adjusting the volume via the app, I can see the numeric display on the screen of the Nova but there is no corresponding numeric display shown in the app when using either the slider or the + / - buttons.
Is this normal or is there a fix ?
System Version: 3.13.0. App Version:8.2.1
I have an Atom not a Nova and it’s the same, no numeric display in the app.
It’s normal. By the way, there is a firmware update 4.13, which adds Presto, fixes some bugs and may even sound better. Look under ‘check for updates’ under system settings if it doesn’t appear in the app.
Sincere thanks to you and @KJH for the confirmation that the lack of numeric volume display on the app is normal. It would be a “ nice to have” and I’ve dropped a note to Naim saying just that !
Regarding firmware, I have just checked via the app and it has confirmed that I am up to date with Ver. 3.13.0 (5828). Presto Music is also available on my Streaming Services. No sign of version 4.13.
Sorry, I’m having a moment. The latest is of course 3.13. A volume display in the app would be very useful, especially where the streamer is out of sight, when you are not wearing your specs or when the streamer doesn’t even have a display.

Agree 100% on the points you made regarding why a numeric volume display in the app would be useful - the first two certainly apply to me !
I’ve mentioned the absence of the numerical volume level in the app to Naim more than once, but it hasn’t appeared so far. You can see it in Roon, so I can’t imagine it would be that hard to see it in Naim’s own app.
