I was going to say the same - shame it’s not easy to remove!
Rather than the modified rucksacks, I’m currently looking at “plate carriers”. These hold (massively overpriced) bits of iron and nothing else. So they’re quite small.
As they’re worn higher up the back, I’m wondering if plate carriers might be the best at correcting posture ?That’s as important to me as the fitness side of things.
Obviously it’d be cheaper to walk around the room with a pile of books on my head.
