Wall mounted speakers in an alcove

I had Tab 10’s and they are brilliant against a wall. You do need v heavy stands to get the best out of them

You could also look at Lyngdorf speakers, such as the FR-1.

Or spendor D1’s. A little bit pricey but great little speakers with reasonable amounts of depth. Spendor even make wall brackets. I have them in my kitchen and am very happy with them.

Ok, got some ex demo Majik 109s arriving tomorrow on trial, then some Tablette 10s (brand new but can try for 30 days) later in the week. Hopefully will hear some improvement on the Neats. If not, I will revert to the original plan of dedicated on wall speakers.

Thanks for the suggestion. They are a bit outside my price range (up to £1200 ish) but I like the idea of a sealed unit like the D1 or the ATC SCM 11 which is likely to be more tolerant of my alcoves. Trouble is I can’t find anywhere that will allow home demo, which is essential for me. Hopefully the Majiks or the Tablettes will work out.
