Weird glitch with Uniti Atom HE

Yesterday I decided to listen to some vinyl on my Atom HE an when I started playing I noticed the sound was louder than usual, then after a few seconds it become quieter again on its own. I then noticed that the music sounded weird, I can’t quite put my finger on it but it felt like there was something missing from it, it lacked punch and clarity.

This morning I tried playing some music again but the problem persisted. I then did a factory reset on the Atom and that seems to have fixed it, it sounds normal again.

I’m using an input sensitivity of 0.5V and an input trim of +5 on the line in where I’ve got the record player plugged in via a Clearaudio Nano Phono preamp, could that have caused some sort of overload or something triggering a fault?

on my Nova PE, for my A/N phono preamp, I use a Input Sensitivity of 6,5V and Input Trim of 0.

In the settings it suggests a sensitivity of 2.5V. I’d try that, with no input trim.

MAX. OUTPUT VOLTAGE

10V eff. (1kHz), 0-10 adjustable

I had the sensitivity set to 0.5 because the volume was much lower than other inputs. I’ve now set the sensitivity to 2.5V and by increasing the gain on the phono amp and setting input trim to +8 the volume levels between inputs are roughly the same now.
