Have the opportunity to purchase a three year old Well Tempered Amadeus mk2 at a reasonable price and wondering if anyone has experience with this turntable. Is it good, worth a closer look?
I have been very pleased with Well Tempered Amadeus (w/ DV XX-2 MKII cartridge), have been using it since 2011. I believe mk2 is a later version but I assume it has the same characteristics. If you have a chance to have a listening session you should take that opportunity - in my mind definitely worth of a closer look.

I owned the WT Versalex for several years and rate it very highly. The Amadeus is close to it in performance levels. They are a little soft sounding in the bass but the music flows really well with an organic midrange. Great value!
