What are Naim doing to our hi fi's used values?

The price sold for is only relevant to how much someone wants to buy something.
Like cars at present shortage of new cars so 2nd hand prices high.
With Hifi demand is probably low so prices drop if you are desperate to sell.
Why not be content with what you’ve got, The selling price is irrelevant if you dont want to sell it.

There are certain used Naim items that will retain their used value or even increase in value over the years (e.g. NAC 52) The fact is that if you buy used you will never lose anything near the initial depreciation on a brand new item. So no problem. I would expect most gear value to eventually settle down at 1/3 (less for higher end stuff) of its new value. This is when I buy. Used Naim prices are very predictable, even now. The best time to buy an NDX2 is when it comes down to about £2k (And it will).
