She has done a few online ‘gigs’ during lockdown for half an hour or so - great !

Tangerine Dream | Josephine The Mouse Singer | 2014
This album was sold before and after the gig during their Phaedra farewell tour. Obviously modern TD but very enjoyable nonetheless .

This is such a wonderful album made better by a stellar expansive recording. If Milt sounds like he’s playing bottle tops you know something’s not right.

Joni Mitchell - Both Sides Now.

Mostly for the cover of ‘I Wish I Were In Love Again’. Quite a wistful album really.

Yes… I’ve got that ( Weltschmerz) but, tbh, I’ve only managed a single listen so far. I should probably give it a second chance especially if I adhere to my theory that those albums that take several listens to break through often end being absolute stonkers that I can’t stop playing!

Marcin Wasilewski Trio - Spark of Life w/Joakim Milder

Marcin Wasilewski (Piano), Slawomir Kurkiewicz (Double Bass), Michal Miskiewicz (Drums) and Joakim Milder (Tenor Saxophone).

Streaming on Qobuz (96/24)… my last album taken out for a spin yesterday was from Marcin with his trio, so now kicking off this Wednesday morning with another of Marcin’s fine albums and this quartet is sounding sublime! The opening track ‘Austin’ is just about perfect, love it…

Sufjan Stevens. Songs for Christmas. This wonderful collection is my favourite at this time of year.
Sufjan would record songs on to CD-R and gift to friends and family. In this box there are all 5 volumes starting in 2001 plus other items of seasonal cheer.

Binker Golding - bonkers title (he did explain when we saw him summer 19 but I forget). Much more hard bop than the new Brit stuff. Great band with Joe Armon-Jones mostly on piano rather than his favoured Wurlitzer. Luvverly slab of Gearbox vinyl too.
