John Martyn - Heaven And Earth.

Posthumous album released 2011. Hard to believe it’s twelve years since left us.

Really like this new Tori Amos album - just rather benign and enjoyable with some great driving rhythms in many of the tracks. Could easily be polite background music or serious listening depending on mood, but it’s been playing constantly today.

There’s one track which on Qobuz sounds quite distorted, perhaps intentionally, will try the Tidal feed instead later.

Oh I hate this! The Tidal feed is much clearer and less muffled, I was going to ditch Tidal but some things are better on Qobuz, some on Tidal.

Can anyone confirm this? I need to get my 205 out of the study where it’s gathering dust!

Yes, but let’s keep it to ourselves. Let’s not upset Mike in case he read a bad review in one of his magazines.!

Moving on to more Keb’ Mo’

Saw Keb’ Mo’ live at a London “church” about 3 years ago.
Great show.
“Church” was not like that when I was a lad!

I have a rip of this but if you like him that much you can generally pick this DVD up pretty cheap.
