Me too. On my third listen. Each time I hear more and more Bryan Adams in his vocal phrasing. Alongside the slew of other 80s acts he’s imbibed. . . bits of Aha, Mark Knopfler, U2, Simple Minds, and Big Country.

All the cool bands under one roof!

Pink Floyd - 1975 Wish You Were Here

Because I am listening to the new Tidal 48 kHz 24 bit files and wondering what impact this has in my gear and CD collection.

Any conclusions yet?

I think I will sail where the wind takes me, as usual.

Listening to Pink Floyd - Animals on Qobuz and still wondering whether I should buy the Pink Floyd albums, which are still missing in my collection, as Hi-Res download or not …

I didn’t like ‘The Wall’ hires. Much prefer my early Harvest/EMI cd.

I think it makes more interesting to collect the rarities.

Eleanor Buckland - You Don’t Have To Know.

Part of the Boston all girl folky trio Lula Wiles

Here on her debut she rocks about a bit - very nice album.

Sort of Alanis Morisette fronting Fleetwood Mac.

Rolling Stones - Some Girls. Playing on a first UK pressing. I’ve always loved the design of the die cut outer / inner sleeve on this album. Record isn’t bad either!

Keith and Michala looking deceptively spooky on the cover-art.
However the music is good to hear anytime of the year :grinning:
