More Dan! This time Alive in America, which I purchased used in Cheyenne, Wyoming, when it was difficult to find in the U.K. I’ve never really found the sound too good on this, but I’m certainly not experiencing that concern now. Then again, the replay equipment has been improved considerably since I last played it.
Agreed, luckily I have an original copy of Dry
Steely Dan - Northeast Corridor
Listening to the HiRes version on Qobuz - sounding magnificent! I wonder if I really do need to buy it now…
Dire Straits - Brothers In Arms 20th Anniversary Edition, excellent instrument seperation on the sacd layer.
Goodness, two Members listening to the great Mauro playing the same Beethoven concerto! Good on you both.
Graham
The Newport All Stars - Tribute To Duke, Recorded Live In Basel, Switzerland on MPS Records CRM 717, German 2nd Press 1971
and Fidelity Research FR-1 MK 3F
Eric Clapton - Pilgrim, on sacd.
Given a nudge by @adeypoos.
Buddy Guy & Junior Wells - Pure Raw Blues.
Buddy Guy & Junior Wells - Alone & Acoustic.
A pair of belters, both the albums and the players.
Steely Dan sounding as great and tight as ever. Great pick.
Booker T & the M G’s. Complete Stax singles volume one. (1962-1967)
Giving this a spin while I wait for delivery of volume two.
The first and possibly the best release from this great British heavy rock band
FM - Indiscreet
That’s a blast from the past. Saw the supporting Magnum (I think).
Good band but like lots of other ‘support’ bands produced one good album (this one) and then promptly disappeared of the face of the Earth
Listening now
BB King & Eric Clapton - Riding With The King, on sacd.
