Eric Clapton - There’s One In Every Crowd.
My good lady asked for me to take Ella off after listening to half the album so just to annoy her I have put this on which I knows she dislikes as it is too weird in her words.

Happy 76th Birthday John Paul Jones!
born on 3rd January 1946 in Sidcup, Kent, England
I know I keep posting this, but, if you find yourself otherwise busy at home, then it really is the perfect background sounds.
All day reggae, what could be better.
gaining courage to hear this.
I need to be in the right mood…
the cure, Pornography (1982)
Deep Purple - Burn, my favourite Purple album.
Just back from my Welsh rural offline fortnight.
So firstly Happy and hopefully healthy new year all.
Took a lot of new music via Qobuz offline to check out and this turned out to be a favourite.
Dr Lonnie Smith - Breathe (Qobuz HiRes)
Following on from his previous All In The Mind this is another superb set, Iggy Pop even guests.
Vinyl soon come, I cant wait!
No napping toddlers or hungover kids so fill the house with music. My last year’s fave - Trini/Brit poet with great complementary Brit jazz musical accompaniment (Jason Yarde, Shabaka Hutchings etc). Don’t be put off by the title, the pomes are about belonging/family/race/ migration. If you like Gil Scott-Heron do try this.
One of my favourite Cannonball albums. The original Riverside versions are definitely superior in sound quality terms than the remastered versions. IMO of course, ymmv.
I have a DCC copy of the album which sounds really good however I agree that anytime you are looking to get an OJC/Riverside album the best copies are the originals, forget the remasters.
Robin Trower. Bridge of sighs.
Procol Harum. A salty dog.
Back to back. @Gazza prompted me to play Mr. Trower and that prompted me to play my favourite Procol album.
Back from a week away. Firing up my Classic Records version of Physical Graffiti to get rid of any cobwebs. One of my most treasured records and the best sounding version I’ve heard to date
