Neither Ese nor I were 100% happy with the mix, @Gazza, Smithy went a bit overboard on the old reverb! So that’s being worked on.

Next up is the Tainted Love EP, which is almost finished and ready to be pressed onto CD. Once E gets back from her Berlin jaunt, all being well, it should be out before the end of the year…

Lovely photo……one of yours?

Carl took it. Lovely, innit? He’s also shot a couple of really good vids too, one for “Lies” and one for “Something Old”.

Does that mean we’ll have to wait 25 or 50 years for the original Smithy mix to appear on the Super Deluxe version of the album.

Back from Black Friday pt1 - pt2 tomorrow: 12 hours of it.
Relaxing to a bit of electronomico pop from
East India Youth Culture Of Volume XL Records 2015.

I admit it, I made up ‘electronomico’…

Yes @AndyP there will be a massively overpriced box set for sure, full of “alternate versions” that sound exactly like all the other versions you have.

The Rolling Stones - Don’t Stop, a stand alone single (remember those?) from a few years back. Excellent “rock mix” of the title song and the 12’’ inch mix of “Miss You” as a bonus.

‘Toto IV’ - Toto

Love the Bernard Purdie-inspired shuffle that kicks off ‘Rosanna’ on side 1.
