What are you listening to in 2022 and why might anyone be interested

Pink Floyd - The Final Cut

A better album than the Wall (IMHO).

EDIT: I was listening at quite high level, but remembered to turn it down just in time for the beginning of ‘Get Your Filthy Hands Off My Desert’, which I am sure has speaker destroying powers.

Tremendous record. The next one after it, Now I’m A Cowboy, is also mighty fine.

Chatting yesterday with @Pete_the_painter about this one and it has stuck in my mind today, so it needs playing. I’ve the SHM-CD double of this but have turned full circle now preferring this original redbook.

Sticking with EJ and an album of his that I haven’t played in a couple of decades or so.

Back in the days this was an album you’d find in most Hi- Fi dealers demo rack.

Helen Watson - Blue Slipper

Produced by Glyn Jones with Little Feat (ex Lowell George) providing the backing. It was the first time the Feats had played together following Lowell’s death.

Still sounds good.
