Something elemental to match the weather outside. Joe n Alice the Elements with Charlie Haden. Fabulous, free and furious. Joe is really being pushed outside his comfort zone. On US milestone heavy vinyl reissue.
On Vinyl:
Took a while to turn up after CD release but has been worth it, sounds simply gorgeous, Tori still showing she has the magic.
Brahms
Sonata in F minor Op.5
Four ballades Op.10
Stephen Hough
Hyperion
The keyboard solo on Voices Inside, Donny Hathaway Live, made me think of Riders On The Storm…
The Doors LA Woman
Brahms Symphony Number 1. Vinyl. Sounds like LVB,
I prefer Brahms 3rd Racket!
Bix Beiderbecke - Gold Collection 40 Classic Performances
Having just heard Frankie Trumbauer on Jazz Record Requests playing Singin’ The Blues, I felt in need of more of the great cornetist. I’ll have to watch the Beiderbecke Affair again too.
1969 - Lee Michaels self titled third album. I’m sure @AndyP must have a copy on his extensive library.
The Lee Michaels cupboard is a little bare consisting of a Barrel.
I need to revisit Lee and have another haul of his catalogue.
Lol, I was quoting that line from Basil to someone the other day. Wonderful.
Apparently he now runs a taco bar in Malibu, California.
Given the (cheap) prices on Qobuz I might just snaffle the rest of the catalogue.
Interesting assume that is Donny on keyboards and at one point he does hit a phrase which is right off Riders on the Storm.
