Maybe but I’m paraphrasing what he says in the film, so yes you are a pedant, would have been interesting to see you correct Ronnie Kray on historical fact though
Alabama 3. Exile on Coldharbour Lane.
It would be impossible to name my 50 favourite albums but this would definitely be in top 10.
Have it on double vinyl (best), cd and box set.
Very funny, moving and at times frightening.
Jeff Beck - Wired.
Here’s an example of a hires remaster that absolutely trounces the first cd release. So much better.
G
I’d touch him with my Coup Stick.
And run!
Ah, you got around to it, whatdya reckon?
Never heard it called that before
Back to happier times. Side 1, Track 1.
Love’s in need of love today.
Billy Joel. Old Vinyl. Forgotten how good this is.
Some serious players on this album, Hiram Bullock and Steve Khan to name two.
Joe Jackson - Look Sharp!
Superb press, inner sleeve notes worth reading. Fantastic music and playing.
It’s a hit!
Alt-J, The Dream, CD rip
First play… this is taking some thinking about. Not sure.
Played it two or three times this week after the earlier recommendations, gets better imo… something quite ‘concept’ about it.
The Beautiful South - Solid Bronze - WAV CD rip
“Great Hits” from the pop-rock masters, Paul Heaton is for me one of our great songwriters and his Beautiful South songs with Dave Rotheray carry his usual combination of cutting wit, passion and anger with incredibly catchy tunes. They were fine musicians, Heaton and Jacqui Abbott are a fantastic vocal pairing, this album brings a smile to my face every time.
I always remember my introduction to this band……live in Sydney, Australia on youtube….classic.
Airbag, A Day At The Beach, bandcamp.
Excellent Norwegian prog.
Just run the NAIM app after several months (tending to use Bubble) and this was the last album I played so why not again?
