Thanks Clive, for the suggestion.
I will…
Yes I was thinking about that as well.
If you have seen the film - Keith has the patience of a saint dealing with Chuck.
The look he gives Johnnie Johnson around 50 seconds is priceless.
Thanks! Mine was given to me by a mate some 30 years later and I love it as well. A nice start to 2022, and as others have said, the great thing about this thread is trying out new recommendations by members and revisiting forgotten gems
Now playing
Cassandra Jenkins - An Overview On Phenomenal Nature
Browsing through the “Best album of 2021” thread I saw a lot of members mentioning this album. Did not know it but now I fully understand. Absolutely brilliant!
Amy Winehouse - At the BBC
If John McLaughlin hadn’t released Liberation Time last year, this would definitely have been my choice for best album release of 2021.
Wonderful album!
Medicine Head. One and one is one.
Surprised they didn’t reach greater heights. Contains some very good songs.
Mark Knopfler - One Take Radio Sessions.
Jackie Leven - Forbidden Songs Of The Dying West. Jackie was a prolific artist and some of his albums can be a little uneven, but I think this is one of his best. Surprised to note that it is now over 10 years since he passed away.
John Hiatt - Bring The Family.
Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris, all the roadrunning. Joining @anon29651526 on this one. Sublime album.
