Gary Moore - How Blue Can You Get, a worthy posthumous release.
First heard this in 1969. Found this copy in a record store in New Orleans 20 years later. Still a great album.
What a guitarist! It always irks me that he had to sell his ‘Peter Green’ Les Paul because of money trouble.
CD - from The Golden Road boxset : )

Ah, I didn’t know that he had to part with it, that’s a shame.

Streaming on Qobuz (48/24)… kicking off this morning with Foy and his ‘Signs of Life’ album and the music is sounding sublime! I do love the opening track ‘Sapling’ quite a bit and a lovely track to ease into day. Life is sweet and so is the music!
Footer or rugger? Think I’ll just stick with this live cracker from trumpeter Marquis Hill on our own Edition records. Fantastic pretty stellar band - drummer Kendrick Scott is particularly impressive.
Vinyl ordered from the reliable Presto.
It’s called ‘Impossible’. I’m listening to it on Qobuz in hi- res and it is just awesome. Best thing either of them has done in years
Cheers, I’ll give it a go anon.
Crikey are they still going? Saw them when some unknown outfit called the Foo Fighters were playing second fiddle.
Malia | Yellow Daffodils | 2002
For no particular reason other than I tripped over it while flicking through the virtual library and realised that this debut of her R&B, jazz 'n neo soul hasn’t seen the light of day for quite a while here.
Tina Brooks - Back to the Tracks
Listening through one ear as the other is bunged up with COVID induced snot.
