Remastered and reissued today on triple vinyl. The best live performance he’s ever played - his first time at The Royal Albert Hall.

I was lucky enough to be at this iconic gig 13 years ago. An awesome performance and this recording TOTALLY does it justice!

Which live albums do you have in your collection where you attended the gig?

Joe Bonamassa - Live From The Royal Albert Hall.

My goodness…before throwing it on the ‘go’ pile I’m giving the curate’s egg of Radiohead’s Moon Shaped Pool a last run through…Identikit has saved it from the pile. Great track.

Did ‘Deck’s Dark’ not float your boat?

@crispyduck
Generally I like Radiohead’s music - it’s when Thom goes into whine mode I struggle!
Moon is thus a curate’s egg for me - but I was surprised about Identikit - so maybe (maybe) I’m coming round to the vocals…

Back to Syd.

Haven’t flicked through the Rock Ys for ages. Can’t resist Stomu Yamashtas Go and one of the great percussion double acts with Michael Shrieve - oh and some bloke called Winwood. On nicely matured Island vinyl. Luvverly.

I’d forgotten the late great Klaus Schulze also plays on it.

‘Solo in Soho’ - Phil Lynott

Some great collaborations on this 1980 album, in particular the track ‘King’s Call’ with Mark Knopfler
