I must admit, its one of those albums, that got hammered, when first released, now you don’t hear it or David Grey, which is a shame, he’s made some other good albums beside White Ladder.

Even by Residential standards, 1979’s Eskimo is bizarre. Most of it is wind noises, incomprehensible gibberish, advertising slogans and random percussion. That said, the second half of the lengthy closer, “Festival Of Death” is rather beautiful. 1986 Ralph vinyl:
We bought the Babylon single at the time too, that’s nice to have, because from memory, I believe its a different version from the album.
I can’t comment about the single Babylon, i haven’t bought a single for at least 30 years……yikes, but you are probably correct.
