Another first time listen for me this album, complex enough to stimulate delightful interest, i’m going to enjoy playing this over a few times just to savour the differences from the norm of Hutcherson vibes
I had the pleasure of seeing her live at “Love Supreme” festival two years ago. I wasn’t expecting much but she was OUTSTANDING. What a slave to the rhythm
I was looking at the track list for Bruce Springsteen’s outtakes set called ‘Tracks’.
Realised my copy was a first press which was re-released to include the 1973 Outtake ‘The Fever’.
Just downloaded this track to add to my set. The mark of a songwriting genius that at the age of 24 he could discard a song of this calibre.
I’ve been looking for this everywhere on vinyl
It was plentiful when I bought it… surprised to see it in short supply as I only bought it March this year. I’d strongly recommend Discogs for a copy. Edit… not sealed but used once and based in Spain. Another in the US but expensive.
Getting to the end of a listening session and wanted to close out with the gorgeous textures of The Red House Painters.
Travesty, you should have won.
I don’t think I’ve ever played this version of this song before, and the sound quality is wonderful.
Sarah Walker’s Sunday morning Radio 3 show
Sarah playing lots of Christmas inspired classical music and carols
And as always if your listening @Clive enjoy and wishing you a good Sunday
Flaco Jimenez. Partners
Flaco plays the accordion. NO COME BACK
This album features him on tracks by Ry Cooder, John Hiatt, Emmylou Harris, Stephen Stills and many other great artists. Very enjoyable
Cold, wet and miserable outside so what better way to spend Sunday morning than with a bit of Four Seasons! The eagle eyed may see the Woollies price sticker in the top right hand corner. It cost £3.49 back I the 80’s
McAlmont And Butler - The Sound Of McAlmont And Butler
Had forgotten about this gem, but was reading wiki about Duffy and their names came up.
