Doris Troy - Doris Troy, her only Apple label album, produced by George. This one certainly goes under the radar.
Have you heard ‘Welcome To The Blackout’ @TheKevster ? That’s my live favourite for the STS, Low & Heroes influence (& also having seen him for the first time twice on that tour).
But yes, David Live (2005) is s cracker
Bedtime Tunes: (something for Mrs Q tonight)
Foreigner: Agent Provocateur
We saw them twice on this tour😊
Don’t think this was particularly well received on release but I like it, some really great guitar as you’d expect from Beck. Uniti Core.
Yes Ian, WTTB is easily the best document of the Isolar II tour. Great album!
The Cruel Sea’s Honeymoon is Over album is one of my favourite albums. It’s a great album to tune your hi fi in and I love their ability to mix swamp music/Americana with Aussie pub bands. They’ve reformed after 20 odd years to release Straight into the Sun, 3 tracks in and I’m not sure.
Speaking of pub rock Australian Crawl greatest hits is a great example.
It’s meant to be played loud.
Following you with some Australian rock this morning @Pete_the_painter
Caligula’s Horse: Rise Radiant
Steven Wilson - The Overview. Hoping I enjoy this, given that I am seeing him live in May. So far, so good.
Edit: Yep, that’ll be a good night.
David Bowie
Hunky Dory (2015 Remaster)
Not played any Bowie for a while, playing my favourite Bowie album on this sunny Friday morning in Cumbernauld.
