Kevin Morby – Little Wide Open
CD | 2026
Was not aware of the new album until posted here. Have had a few listens, enjoyable album.
Chicken Shack - The Complete Blue Horizon Sessions (2005). One of my all time favourite British blues bands. Me and Christine got a thing, y’know.
Another vote for the new ‘Boards album.
Third play this week and it’s really hit its stride now, right up there with their best.
May well end up album of the year for me, brilliant!
Now Playing…
Ketil Bjørnstad | Evening Song - Aftensang
Ketil Bjørnstad (Grand Piano).
Streaming on Qobuz (44.1/16)… easing in this morning with a bowl of bananas, blueberries, strawberries, cherries and yogurt while listening to the beautiful music from Ketil, and he is sounding sublime!
Kevin Morby - Little Wide Open. First listen to his new album and it’s a gem. An interesting list of contributors, including Aaron Dessner, Lucinda Williams, Amelia Meath, Justin Vernon, Andrew Barr and Meg Duffy.
Lew ‘Scratch’ Perry & Mouse On Mars - Spatial, No Problem (2026). Dub meets electronica and has diverse babies. Loving this.
Good isn’t it. I’m new to them, but this got me right away.
