Or maybe Donnington, we can always hope the Castle will return to being a half decent pub again , that Lodge place doesn’t look all that inviting…..
Good luck with whatever you choose to do .

Skinny women.
I was very tempted by a very nice lamp (I do like lamps) in Original BTC’s recent archive sale. I told myself I didn’t need it, then on the last day of the sale they sent a ‘last day’ reminder email. What the heck, it was 60% off normal price and the lamp table did look a little bare without a lamp.
Nice one!
So you do like a good discount after all then?
As I somewhat disingenuously posted upstream, I’m more inclined towards camera gear than hifi.
Why? you may ask? Sadly, because hifi has got way too costly to justify the expenditure.
Hah…I’m in the middle of about $35k in upgrades (due to a nice windfall).
Absolutely, so long as the list price is genuine. I was going to include a line about the lamp being the Ansuz of lighting but thought better of it.
Love it
Nice lamp too
I have my Atom HE sitting on the bottom shelf of this table, nice fit if you haven’t tried it.
It would be in the wrong place in the room! Anyway the Atom sits on a much nicer table already.
Pilium Leonidas integrated amp. Shown here connected to Magico A5s at Rhapsody in Brooklyn, NY, where I heard them last week. It’s big (100 kg), and probably somewhat finicky, but it reproduced recorded sound with remarkable effortlessness and honesty. Perhaps too honest to live with? Amazing though.
Very nice! Like it!
That looks like one live-sounding room.
I would have thought so, too, especially given those big Ferguson Hill transparent horn speakers behind the Magicos. In the event though I did not find the room too bright, at least not to my ear at the volumes we listened at.
Magico likes pairing with Pilium at shows…great sounding amps. They are beasts though. The monos are a 2 man gig for sure. The Greeks are putting out a lot of top tier gear, Ypsilon in same echelon.
