Just enjoying this. Lovely stuff.
Pub ‘crawl’ in Lichfield tonight. We both love Jaipur so called in the Whippet first. Then a balancing pint of low gravity Tring in Beerbohm’s, next door.
Tonight’s thirst-quenching selection at The Bandstand. Whiteout and Landlord superb, followed by Loch Lomond, Southern Summit, at the Havelock, also fab.
Cheers,
Ian

I’m too stingy to spend almost 7,- euros. But I like the design very much.

Had to go to Gloucester this morning, which was a good excuse to visit the drunken duck. This is their best bitter, brewed by Butcombe, sitting in front of a couple I tasted earlier. The pale ale was fruity (grapefruit?), whilst the porter was what I should have had.
And good?
My March delivery has arrived. I wanted to offer the dear colleague who dragged the boxes into my room a warm beer from the delivery, but she refused.
So what was inside?

And many more.

Enjoyed a few of these last night at the Low Moor club Clitheroe while attending the monthly jazz jam. Excellent evening with some great musicians

We’re not fans of fruit in beer so a restricted choice. Went, again, for the Church End bitter - What The Fox’s Hat - being poured. A lovely beer, complex, long, creamy, great mouth feel.
Part of a hamper for my birthday last month. A very quaffable golden ale from the edge of the Peak District
Age makes a vig difference here. Today I had an Oktober one, 5 months.
We have family friends in Antwerp, whenever they’re here they bring a
crate of fabulous beers, these are left over from a recent visit, and we have all the appropriate glasses.
