Hot evening, cold beer, very moreish.
Nice glass!
Thanks. It’s a Riedel, picked up from TK Maxx, many years ago. No longer made.
La Trappe Blond Special Edition 7%. Father’s Day gift from my lad who is now home from uni. We have a glass each after dinner. Stronger tasting than the ABV suggests. We will drink the rest tomorrow. Brewed from barley, wheat, oats, and rye.
Adnams Wonderwall (presumably after a certain reunion tour) seasonal light IPA - biscuit orange maybe a hint of ginger. Ideal for barbies or watching the cricket. Went flat quickly.
I’m a creature of habit I’m afraid - several post-work pints of ‘Avocet’ this evening,
What a fabulous Spring and Summer it’s been so far - need to quench the thirst with a few friends.
Faster than a cannonball?
Timothy Taylor’s Golden Best - perfectly named beer - cracking pint especially after a 15 mile Peak District walk.
On at The Bandstand, last night. It has been warm and muggy, even here in Scotland, of late. I nevertheless eschewed the lighter beers for a couple of pints of Raven, a light amber brew with a lovely malty, biscuity flavour. Refreshing and tasty at 3.8 abv; what’s not to like?
Cheers,
Ian
Leikim Hell 4.9% a Bavarian light lager. On holiday on Lake Garda, North Italy and it is striking how many German tourists there are, so the beer choices reflects this. Either way it went down well with a Tyrolean flavour pizza.
You probably aren’t even allowed to call this ‘beer.’ It came as a promotional gift with my food delivery today. It was alright to drink, but I wouldn’t buy it.
