Hmmm Banana Beer - had to try it but with a side of stout just in case. Weiss Banana - a wheat beer but with a slight caramel back taste.

Out for a curry and a beer after the game. A pint of Little Faith IPA. Very nice . Piquant! Also nipped in the pub for a pint of Tetley’s. Not the same but nostalgic.

Anyone who has never installed Wireworld power cables has no idea about cable laying. Compared to that, NACA5 is like a piece of string.

Last night’s selection at The Bandstand, Nairn. Disappointingly, the Red Kite was a little lifeless, but Whiteout was superb.
On to The Havelock afterwards, where Wildcat was fabulous; it remains a strong favourite of mine in the malty Scottish Ale category.
After 6 hours of ‘bracing’ outdoor DIY today, I can feel the reward of a bottle of Oystercatcher Stout from Brimstage Brewery, Wirral (near where I grew up) calling out to me!

Back in the South of France for a bit. As we all know France isn’t world renowned for making beer, but they do have a few. How about this one from French Flanders, there wasn’t too many on the self so I rationalised ‘good beer’. 50cl tins at 8.5. A few of these and your anybodies!! 
And yes it is a good beer

Thornbridge Salted Caramel Lacaria. Described as an ice cream porter, has sweet and salted overtones. In the Ship and Mitre, Dale Street, Liverpool.
