Not tried this before but was very pleasantly surprised :+1:.

A local beer festival at ‘The Holt’ in Exeter, run by Otter Brewery. I really enjoyed the cold ‘Tarka’ lager on yet another hot summer evening.

Medieval surroundings with musical accompaniment.

And a glorious sight as I emerged from the pub.

OK, OK, so a mass produced beer in a can… shame on me.

But it was at a good price in our local supermarket here in Warsaw, so I grabbed a couple. Say it quietly…

it’s actually quite nice…

Used to be a good reliable pint (0.5l) in my Prague days, but there were more interesting ones on offer.

Very enjoyable first try of this beer.

Modelo is nice. Do try a Bohemia too.
Unfortunately, our usual Mexican restaurant no longer stocks it, but they do have Pacifico beer - also very nice and my preference vs Modelo.

Pacifico the best IMO after four years living in Mexico.

Sierra Nevada Bigfoot

A strong ‚beer‘ with 9.6% alcohol. It tastes a little sweet, but also quite bitter. You can taste caramel and hops. It seems to be a good beer for people who like strong and rich beers.

It’s been quite cold here the last week or so, I know it’s all relative. But it was 22c especially in the sun enjoying my favourite low carb lager
