Threads disappearing is unfortunately a common thing on this forum. I guess a side effect of having only a single moderator which only does it part time.
But I struggle to think what could have derailed that particular thread to warrant so much moderation that deleting was easier. Can anyone shed any light?

I’m not aware of any “Chicago” issue, guess I haven’t been around here long enough, but it does sound like a post could have been removed, not the whole thread…
Some of the posts had breached forum rules with regard to discussion of ex or banned members. These threads usually have to be removed for one reason or another sooner or later. Better sooner as it saves much work and pain later on.
