I assume these are from the masters done by Analogue Productions. I balked at $30 per SACD, especially as I had much of the music on SACD already as part of the RCA/BMG series. But they dropped the price on some of the SACDs to $19.50, and I bit on several. Qobuz’s price on the DSD downloads is much less than that for Sublime members. I’d already picked up “Spain” and “Iberia,” but I decided to add several more. I’d buy more, but much of the music is not so much to my taste.

I’ve always liked and enjoyed everything I’ve bought from the Living Stereo label. Usually lovely sound and recording quality, I hope you will find these to be the same @jegreenwood

Funny I was playing Surf’s Up last night and noticed there was a Hi Res 192 version and thought oh no another purchase.
Had a listen noticed it needed more volume but my 16 bit version is so much better than the Hi Res.

Shocked to see that Juno Download has shut up shop. I got some deals from them. One less place to buy downloads.

Live at The Caverns (Part 1 & 2) was recorded at The Caverns, a legendary venue in southern Appalachia, which is quite literally underground. These performances were part of Subterranea 2025 (October 4 & 5), which was Papadosio’s final festival before they began their hiatus from touring. My two sets took place in two different caves, each with incredibly unique acoustics. I captured both a clean line recording and a field recording inside the caves for both sets, which has allowed me to whip up a tasteful blend afterward and thereby properly share the experience!
Part 2 is an ambient sound bath in the Big Room Cave. This location is a sprawling underground “room” beyond a long and narrow subterranean corridor. For this set, after everyone was settled into their spot on the cave floor, we turned out the lights and listened to the soundscapes in meditative darkness. Some of the ambient pieces played here may be familiar from previously released records, but most of this material draws from my collection of unreleased ambient music. I hope the sound invites you into serenity and centeredness, wherever and whenever it may find you.
