What is this LP12 build?

This LP12 belongs to a fellow forum member . . . we unboxed it at my home a couple of weeks ago but didn’t have time to install the Aro and get it running.

From the pics below . . . what is it? The plinth we know is a lovely Woodsong (Wenge); it has the Woodsong label on it. And it has an Aro armboard and he has the Aro. The rest of the parts???

Looks like a Chris Harban plinth and standard sub chassis.

What are the elements of a “standard sub chassis.” I get the impression that various parts have names etc . . .

The black piece is the basic, steel sub-chassis, with maybe pre-cirkus or cirkus bearing, couldn’t tell. Then the board of a Naim Armageddon psu.

Bart!!

Thanks so much for uploading and opening up some insight into what it is that I own. I have not been an LP person till within the last 5 years, when you graciously sold me the Rega. now that I have this handed down to me from the former head of NANA….I’ve only had the opportunity to listen to with my Lyra Atlas Lambda for about 20 hours. having had such incredible good fortune to know fellow members like Chris Bell and Charlie, the digital world has so exceeded my wilded expectations, that it’s a shame I have not had more time to delve into the LP12 which I received.

genuinely …. were this your TT

LP12 Aro Armageddon, Lyra Lambda, Superline, Supercap DR, 552, 500, Proac K6 Signatures…and the ND555 with 2x PS….

what would be something to be done to hear more out of the music than currently?

sincere…open forum …welcome all thoughts question

maybe the sub chassis and bearing?

If it were mine . . . I’d upgrade the sub-chassis and bearing. And I’d really want to be sure that the person doing the work knows what they are doing. While I don’t necessarily subscribe to the “there are only 2 people on the planet who can do this,” I’d still want to be sure it was someone who’d done a few in the past. Fred will know, but hopefully there’s someone at the Seattle dealership with the appropriate experience!
