‘The Last time I get burned like this’ is a favourite system test track for me. Not because of any hifi artefacts, but the chilling mood of the song.
My love for it goes back to seeing him play it live on Whistle Test. A wow moment for sure.
If a system is really conjuring the music ( as opposed to merely doing good hifi stuff) then the guitar break between the last 2 choruses will freeze me to the bone. Easy for a system that isn’t quite ‘on it’ to get this wrong and it fall flat, but it’s wonderful when done right.
