For those interested, there’s a new Gregory Porter LP on the 17th of April:

He seems to be moving in a poppier direction. This is the single, out today:

Ordered the Gregory Porter triple LP today

Rory Gallagher 3 LP set of tracks from live gigs in 1977, mixed from the original master tapes and mastered at Abbey Road.

Thought I was the only Z&P fan in the forum. I’ve also ordered this set of albums and really looking forward to playing them. Especially , Somewhere in the city.

Looking forward to this - I saw RG on tour the year before in 1976 and again in 1878 - but oh what a naff title for an album and the cover shot is that David Coverdale - the music should be brilliant though.

Funnily enough I was about to comment on @Eoink’s post regarding what look like great photos of Rory in action. I think all live album’s should have suitable accompanying photos where possible and I had managed to completely miss that horror of a cover :grinning:
Where is the Strat for god’s sake !

He was a great guy with a fantastic memory of gigs. Had more than a few beers with him after an Al Stewart gig many moons ago. Saw him originally in Taste and many times after that. He was the reason I bought my first tartan shirt.
