What’s up with BT?

BT appears to have switched off any email spam filters, don’t know about anyone else but I’m being bombarded with junk and spam at the moment. They were pretty good up to about a month, six weeks ago, but it’s gone to rats since then.

Obviously my local filters are doing what they can, but it’s becoming an uphill battle.

I think they are obligated to deliver emails to valid email addresses. In my own instance I have noticed a much larger number of emails being delivered to my “junk/spam” folder. Why I have no idea. I just give them a perfunctory view ( not opening any) before deleting them. To date I have not had one that I actually wanted so their algorithm for guessing “junk/spam” is pretty good.

Ditto :grinning_face::+1:.

I had a period of spam/scam overload, I suspect one reason might be my email got onto a dodgy list and was sold on the web.
It’s now stopped or at least reduced to just a few a week.
I mark them all as block sender and domain before deleting.

Same here. Good amount of normal email end up in the spam or junk boxes. I think it probably depends on their type of certificates I suppose.

Very good at filtering Spam on my account. The volume in the Spam folder has gone up hugely recently though. Usual stuff asking for me to ‘re-enter’ my bank account details…
