Does Beethoven’s 9th count? (Although it usually takes up 3 sides)

Add Quadrophenia to that list and it would be mine.

100% without a doubt.

There are lots of very good double LP’s but Quadrophenia is unbeatable the running order, the story and the band Daltrey’s vocals and John and Keith I mean it just never gets old I’ve been listening to it as long as I can remember it just has everything this was Pete Townshend at his peak.

Silver Moon is one of the best songs he’s ever written. Makes me go all gooey… Beautiful.

The first 4 tracks set me off. The title track should not work with its clashing chords but just does. Laughter & Forgetting gets me every time. Before the Bullfight is just epic. Jansen’s drumming intro for Taking the Veil makes me know I’m home.

An Emerald City - Circa Scaria It was recorded in a studio built in a cave at a beach near where I live… sounds epic… Its a sort of instrumental prog/psychedelic rock…
