Thé turntable much too close to the speaker.
He wants to loan me back , so I will loan them back , and have a final decision by then … but, there is something in the Valhalla 2 that ansuz lack… from what I heard from this D3… maybe it’s not run in yet .
Valhalla ia a tough competitor. You can find some details in here where he compare with Odin and Valhalla that might be similar to what you hear. Cannot share a link but google will find it.

BB, check w you, how is A2 digital? I feel like trying out an ansuz cable . Cos they have no D3 nor D2 nor C2
Very good! It replaced my Chord Tuned Aray. I’ve found that the more Ansuz I put in my system the better. The sum is greater than the parts. I might evaluate the new A3 Digital later on or get me a used C2 Digitalz.

My dealer has a demo pair, and really likes them a lot. He says they are some of the best Dynaudio speakers he has heard. They have more bottom than the old Confidence C2s (that I have) and remind him more of the old C4s. He likes them better than the current Confidence (I assume he means Confidence 30). They are $14k in the U.S. but all of N.A. is only getting 200 pair. They are making 1000 pair for worldwide.

Couldn’t resist picking up these 1986 Klipsch La Scalas.
Mostly an experiment. Still holding on to the Ovators…
Original 3/4” birch plywood cabinets.
New Crites crossovers, 15” woofers, midrange drivers, and tweeters.
Initial impressions are fun. Probably too sensitive to be a good match for Naim… enjoying the totally different presentation, nonetheless.
Holographic imaging impressive at low volume. Truly immersive experience.

Enjoying the Marantz SA12SE this weekend. Have bought some used Sennheiser headphones HD650 to try out with it and I can use them to listen to sounds while I have chemo at hospital. Only £150 including postage.
My daughter enjoyed playing CDs at mine Firday night on the set up.
Bought a couple of CDs yesterday Dire Straits and Division Bell. Just playing them now. System sounding great. So much fun!
The Marantz is a great machine. Very happy with purchase !

That is similar to my experience with the Klimax DSM. I tried the dual mono Organik Linn Hub as well and it was brilliant in its own right. There is only a marginal improvement with the Klimax.

Decided I’d give up checking spring tension, belt condition, cartridge alignment, platter bounce and speed, now that I’m getting too old to concentrate on and see what I’m doing.
So. I’ve bought a Denon DP-3000NE.
Dead easy to put together. Detachable headshell, so mounting the cartridge was a doddle. Took less than an hour, no turntable technician required.
I initially thought of the Technics 1200GR, but once I’d spotted the Denon, I was never going to buy the Technics.
Pleased with the sound, even though not burned in. 
Nice match for the chrome bumper amps.
It is actually a very dark brown. Although most of the time it looks black.

I have the new Ansuz cheapo line Axxess speaker cable, 2x 3m, and i love the balanced and transparent sound. I had auditioned them at home against Naca5, audioquest Rocket 88 and Vertere Redline, and the Axxess was clearly the most balanced and engaging cable with a very good sound stage… at only 750 Euros.
I could now get a really good deal on Superluminas but, dont really want to change from the Axxess…
